Laser Marking Machine
Fiber laser marking
The versatility of fiber lasers and their ability to perform high-speed marking of parts without the use of inks and dyes has made lasers the preferred marking technology for many years. More recently the continued reduction in fiber laser prices is making the process even more cost effective.
No consumable materials - no dyes, inks, or stylus tips to replace
Reduced operating cost and increased tool availability
Non-contact technique with no contamination transfer between part and process head in either direction
Wide flexibility and easily programmed - no restrictions on image types or styles
No hardware adjustments necessary when switching between jobs
Why are more manufacturers using laser marking?
Laser marking offers durability, simple programming and marking speeds not available from any other technology. The dramatic reduction in laser costs enabled makes laser marking systems highly affordable and the marking technology of choice where quality and durability is required.
Fiber lasers are more suitable for metal, plastic and ceramic parts, they eliminate consumable ink and require no jet maintenance. Fiber laser marking physically changes the surface, giving it a permanence that can never be achieved with ink.
Fiber laser marking has no electrical restrictions, no cost of stencils, and can change mark patterns on the fly for part serialization.
Fiber laser marking is higher resolution, can apply any 2D image and is much faster. In applications like Unique Device Identification (UDI) marking, fiber lasers can produce small dimension marks that are not possible with dot peen.
Mopa Fiber Laser Engraving Machine for Color Marking Metal, Gold, Silver, Stainless Steel with Rotary Axis
MOPA fiber laser engraving and marking machine offers perfect performance. Easily engrave metal, polymers, and more with precision and experience enhanced capabilities with the mopa source. Our mopa sources have 10x higher peak power to enable marks not normally possible such as black on anodized aluminum or multicolor on steel.
What is Color MOPA Fiber Laser Marking Machine?
MOPA color laser marking machine use mopa technology to achieve high-quality color marking on a variety of materials such as metal, plastic, and ceramics. Color laser engraving machine use a laser beam to etch away the surface layer of the material or change the color of the surface, creating a permanent mark that is highly precise and detailed. MOPA laser engraving machine can produce a range of colors that include shades of red, green, yellow, and blue, as well as gray and black.
The laser produces a thermal effect on a metal surface, with the laser energy density being proportional to the film thickness. This leads to regular changes in the color of the metal surface as the laser energy is increased, moving from yellow to red, blue, green, and finally to a darker shade of green. By controlling the laser energy density, desired colors can be generated on metallic materials such as stainless steel, chrome, and titanium.
